If you're not familiar with piquette, now might be an excellent time to give it a try. Piquette was traditionally considered peasant/farmer wine. This is due to the fact that the laborers on traditional domaines would take the spent grape skins, seeds, and lees and rehydrate then using water and potentially honey in order to make a low alcohol, refreshing beverage that could be drank throughout the day, never getting you drunk, but keeping your buzz.
