"For 2021, the white is equal parts Sav Blanc, Chardonnay, and Vermentino. The first two varieties coming from the ancient vines at Lolonis in Redwood Valley. The Vermentino is from a steep north facing vineyard that goes straight into Clear Lake in Lake County. Both sites are organic. Lolonis is dryfarmed. Bottled at ~1brix and on lees in bottle for almost 11 months before disgorging. Slight kiss of reduction, bright tropical fruit, and maybe a slight bit of residual sugar still ticking away in there. Really fun wine that you can party with now or stash away for a special moment in the future like when you buy a house or capitalism ends. The touch of sweetness makes it really flexible with food and would rip with spicy things, on the holiday tabletable, or with cheeses" -Brent Mayeaux (the winemaker)
